Do you want to contribute an article to Berde Boy?
Berde Boy uses a personal approach in communicating the message of sustainability. Its aim is to humanize the movement and to make it easier to understand for its readers. Taking the Sustainable Development Goals as an inspiration, Berde Boy shares stories and insights on sustainability, both local in the Philippines and international. If you would like to contribute an article and help spread the message of the sustainability movement, check out the guidelines below.
What content should you submit?
I have personally written about social entrepreneurship, urban agriculture, environmental conservation, mental health, innovation, minimalism, volunteerism, peacebuilding, and sustainable tourism, to name a few. However, I need your help to expand this further. I am also looking for content on the following topics:
- Carbon and climate
- Corporate social responsibility
- Sustainable cities
- Renewable energy
- Green buildings
- Sustainable lifestyle
- Green finance
- Sustainable transport
- Waste management
- Water management
- Others related to sustainability
Remember, the article must have a tone that relates to people on a personal level. The goal is to reach as many people as possible through the use of simple, concise, and impactful language. The maximum word count is 1,000 words.
How do I submit an article?
Email your article to me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Berde Boy – Submission“. Include the following details:
- Your background in sustainability (if any)
- Your blog or channel (if any)
- A link to other guest posts you’ve done (if any)
At the moment, however, I cannot provide compensation yet for the article as this is mainly a contributor role.
